Find CSV structure problems, blank cells and records, exact duplicate records, surrounding whitespace and possible spreadsheet formulas. Every accepted data row is checked and all finding locations appear in the text report.
File requirements and limits
One UTF-8 comma-delimited CSV with an optional initial BOM, a nonempty, distinct header row, and consistent record widths. Maximum 65,536 source bytes, 50 data records excluding the header, and 10 columns. Correctly quoted commas and line breaks are supported. Files outside the limits are refused in full.
What stays unchanged
The original file is read-only. Values, headers, duplicate records, whitespace and record order stay unchanged. The free check creates a text report; it does not repair business facts, remove duplicates, produce normalized CSV or guarantee an import will succeed.
Privacy and spreadsheet safety
The checker makes no network requests and uses no browser storage or third-party libraries. It refuses common sensitive-data indicators, but cannot certify privacy or permission. Select only public catalog data. Formula flags can include legitimate negative numbers; values are reported without being executed.
A larger catalog?
